Does anyone know if there's something similar for the Stones? A web radio streaming live performances from the Stones through the years would be excellent.

There used to be a great webradio from Japan that streamed boots, live and studio, not sure what happened to it, might still be there!

I take it you're a Neil Young fan, catching his Bercy show? Thinking about going GA myself!

And it works SO EASY!!! Just push play...

and check it out....
hit the "CHORDS" button and you can play along [songx.se] to the song curetnly on, in this case.... Cowgirl in the Sand.

This is the coolest thing the internet has done for me in a long time, if the Stones and every other band does not follow along.... well.... it is stupid.

Talk about getting fans by serving them the proof in the pudding right now, and later they buy your songs, or at least ticket to your shows.

Big fan but... I saw them 10 years ago at the same place and found the sound awful.
Given my recent bad experiences at concerts in Paris, I don't think it's going to be better this time... Maybe I'll try to catch them somewhere else.

Really? Last time I went to Bercy for the 11/2011 Macca show the sound wasn't too bad. Not as good as The Stones at the O2 where it was stellar but still ok.

Re: OT: Rust Radio - streaming Neil Young concerts - now 24/7

Maybe they managed to improve the sound somehow?
Anyway if I can I'd rather to see them in a festival open space. At least you can escape easily from bad sound. smiling smiley
The strange thing is I used to go to a lot of concerts but the last couple of years I found the sound level in Paris concert clubs so loud that now I'm thinking twice before going to another concert...

Yeah the sound is loud in some places, Trabendo comes to mind, it was hardly bearable for the Stones and totally unbearable for Brad, but ok for Robert Cray...

Fortunately I now have the Etymotic ER-20 the "musician earplugs", flat response, they really came in handy at the Brad show, ears were totally fine after that! Less than €10 at Audilo in Paris if you go and pick them up, a bit more on Amazon. The "standard" size (blue tips) is recommended.

The great thing is every time you tune in there's something going on. Now the rare "Like An Inca" with the Trans Band. Just missed the Crazy Horse song "Beggars Day" though...

Did ya realize,
I think if you are playing a song, and you hit pause, if/when you hit play again it starts playing, it picks up, where you were in the song when you paused, meaning it really pauses, versus it being a mute thing.

If you want to hear what is "live feed" you have to reload the page.

for what ever that is worth.... I have been listning a lot. I would love to see The Stones do something like this... they certainly have the catalog.

Actually I think you're right. It doesn't simply mute the sound.
I didn't pay attention to this until now as I'm playing the radio on my usual media player for a better sound...
