news flash... what your missing is tweeting as its social media money..carries weight and makes cash and credibility.

get with the times or be left behind.... they don't call them smartphones cause their dumb.

tweeting 101....learn it and get a nice deal on iPhone 5 all built into platform (iOS6) with facebook. since apple is coming with a slight refresh of 5s the 5 will have good deals..8mb good lowlight camera and even better and more mature music/app store. i literally can use garageband to make music, itunes to play it. Pages to do all work done in Office 2007 and iMovie for any video related use.

and please don't the open source fly boys chime in as not one compares...yea including the hyped Samsung... plastic based oversized phopad (too big for one handed phone work and too small for ipad.

now do all that and you would be in touch with gregggory and the stones bulls&^t app which charged .99 cents for exclusive videos posted all over you tube..and another .99 cents for audio version of angie from urban jungle shows that was sold as video.

they are so in need of cash for 4 generations ahead they are clipping us for an freemium app.

Are they "anti-scalping" tickets (like the $85 ones)? If not, some Stones freaks might arrive outside the venue, only to have some computer billionaire fan approach and whisper, "Pssst, wanna trade your ticket for my Malibu mansion?"

Interesting, because the extended band wasn't at the Paris club gig last fall. Lends credibility to the "commercial filming" suggestion mentioned earlier. However, I don't believe ticket sales will ultimately be a problem.

great to see so many real fans got in. this is a really tiny place. definitely the smallest venue they have played since Double Door in 1997.

Agreed. While Facebook and Twitter can be fun for communicating with friends and relatives and keeping up with the news that is interesting to you, they are both essential to most successful businesses nowadays because they make connecting with very specific customers so easy. Now, back to the show... are they on stage yet?

If that's all I'm missing, then I'm not missing a thing. I don't need to get on some hip and trendy tech bandwagon that will only wind up in the electronic junkyard someday. CDs, DVDs, and iPods are about as far as someone my age (46) is likely to get.

I view so-so media as an electronic form of hair dye--such things could never change the fact that I was born in the middle of a century that is now gone and obsolete.

What a laugh that the Library of Congress catalogs tweets, like it's literature.

Delighted to be left behind. Enjoy your high-speed, high-tech trip to nowhere. Besides, Tweeting is for the birds....

Its still only 7:30 in LA... maybe another hour, or so?
Mick is probably still watching the Richomnd NASCAR race.

my thoughts exactly.

Was lucky to see the Toads Place 89 warm up show. There is nothing like it. Didn't go to the stadiums for the stones again until 2005 in SF because there was no topping a 500 seat room show even if only an hour long. Enjoy everyone, will watch the news feed.
