Can someone please enlighten me as to what the big differences are? Besides that one is a factory press and the other a copy. I notice quite a few people being down on CDR's...Why??? Quality? Longevity?

I couldn't agree more!!!!!!! If value is the difference???? I'm not planning on retiring on the boots..............but the more I & others can hear for less the better!!!!!! Can't speak to the first two statements but 100% agree with the premise of the last 3 lines!!!!

Silver CD`s are made by offset technic
CD`Rs are real burned by laser.
Figure out the difference.

Be careful of cheapo discs tho.
I have some blue die ones from only
about 5 years ago that have crapped
out. Also some with a white and a red
finish on the top side -a real heartbreak!
Has anybody else run into this? Check
your collection, especially stuff
you haven't listened to in a few
years -you may be surprised.
