While waiting for the next album by the Glimmer Twins, this one could be interesting I suppose.

While waiting for the next album by the Glimmer Twins you'd be better off watching Hampton 81 with a big whore by ya side.....more fun!

while waiting for the next album i'm listening repeatedly 'let it bleed' live version 81....in particular the great wyman's bass.
Listening this song i have definitively understood how the stones miss this great bass player.

The album is not a pure E-Street effort. They apparently are in the mix along with other players.

Bruce Springsteen is why god gave us CD burners.

according to a local newspaper it will contain outtakes of his Tom Jones, I mean Tom Joad project. It's not clear if he going to record the album with the E-Street Band. There's also a new tour coming up.

Meanwhile I listen to Emotional Rescue

not correct. A couple of the songs were written during the solo tour that followed that album and were performed a few times towards the end of the tour. It's not really that uncommon for Springsteen to re-record songs he's either written or performed some time earlier (quite a lot of "The Rising" album pre-dates 9/11, contrary to the press bullshit about all of the songs being "inspired" by it). Bruce has several "unfinished" albums and therefore literally hundreds of stray songs waiting for an outlet for their release. A bit like Neil Young, in many ways.

well the album is finished, and ..he didnt.

most probably an acoustic tour, concentrating on smaller venues.

'Devils & Dust' Track List:

1. Devils & Dust
2. All The Way Home
3. Reno
4. Long Time Comin'
5. Black Cowboys
6. Maria's Bed
7. Silver Palomino
8. Jesus Was an Only Son

'Devils & Dust' was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who first worked with Springsteen on the acclaimed CD, 'The Rising.' The new album was recorded at Thrill Hill Recording Studios in Los Angeles and New Jersey with additional engineering at Southern Tracks Recording in Atlanta.
