while waiting for the next album i'm listening repeatedly 'let it bleed' live version 81....in particular the great wyman's bass. Listening this song i have definitively understood how the stones miss this great bass player.

according to a local newspaper it will contain outtakes of his Tom Jones, I mean Tom Joad project. It's not clear if he going to record the album with the E-Street Band. There's also a new tour coming up.

not correct. A couple of the songs were written during the solo tour that followed that album and were performed a few times towards the end of the tour. It's not really that uncommon for Springsteen to re-record songs he's either written or performed some time earlier (quite a lot of "The Rising" album pre-dates 9/11, contrary to the press bullshit about all of the songs being "inspired" by it). Bruce has several "unfinished" albums and therefore literally hundreds of stray songs waiting for an outlet for their release. A bit like Neil Young, in many ways.

well the album is finished, and ..he didnt.

most probably an acoustic tour, concentrating on smaller venues.

--> Because the original recordings aren't worth the money, you mean?
