Strange story in Arizona. Diamondbacks owner forces Dodgers fans (wearing Dodgers jerseys) in a suite behind home plate to change their clothes or move to different seats.

It may not deserve its own thread here, but maybe a post reminder...
PSA-
The only golf I watch all year is the final round of the Masters, which is on right now, and it is pretty eciting... well... as exciting as watching golf can be anyway.... even NASCAR defers to it by running theor race last night, although the trucks are running at historic Rockingham raceway.....as Kobe Bryants season (and maybe the Lakers post season hopes) come to an end with his surgery.... and it is Royals-1 Blue Jays-1, all knotted up in the 5 th inning. This sports brief brought to you by
ROLLING HANSIE'S "WE LIKE TO DRINK BEER" brand of beer.

This season shows how unpredictable sports can be. The Yankees and Red Sox were supposed to be bad this year but they are the top two teams in their division.

Isnt the real question, how can those 2 teams be predicted
to be bad when they have the highest payrolls in baseball?
New York Yankees $228,995,945
Los Angeles Dodgers $216,302,909
Philadelphia $159,578,214
Boston $158,967,286
Detroit $149,046,844
San Francisco $142,180,333
Los Angeles Angels $142,165,250
Texas $127,197,575
Chicago White Sox $124,065,277
Toronto $118,244,039
St. Louis $116,702,085
Washington $112,431,770
Cincinnati $110,565,728
Chicago Cubs $104,150,726
Baltimore $91,793,333
Milwaukee $91,003,366
Arizona $90,158,500
Atlanta $89,288,193
New York Mets $88,877,033
Seattle $84,295,952
Cleveland $82,517,300
Kansas City $80,491,725
Minnesota $75,562,500
Colorado $75,449,071
San Diego $71,689,900
Oakland $68,577,000
Pittsburgh $66,289,524
Tampa Bay $57,030,272
Miami $39,621,900
Houston $24,328,538
And look at miserable Houston. They need to take that team away from the owner. If they cant pay a decent payroll, then force them to sell to someone who will.... unless I am missing something... but a total payroll of only 25 million??? There are some individual players (e.g. A-wad, Cliff Lee) who make more than the whole Houston team.

Well I'm not an expert on The Red Sox so I don't know why people were predicting they would be lousy but with The Yanks it was mostly about injuries. Probably at least 90 million dollars worth of players sitting on the bench. Most of them will return and contribute eventually except for maybe A-Rod who seems to be a shell of his former self.

I have always felt, except for rare on field issues, that there is not a lot of reasons for injured players in baseball. If I was an owner/manager I would teach/FORCE my fkg millionaire players to do daily yoga, stretching, agility training, etc etc, no exceptions.... It seems most injuries we see could have been avoided. Of course I am not talking about collisions, but more like simple stuff, for insatnce pulling a ham string running to first base. S T R E T C H ! !
90 Million Dollars worth of player on the injury list? What would George have said?

George would have went out and signed another 90 million dollars worth of players lol. His sons don't seem to want to sign high price free agents the way he did.
