You mean Gene lied/exaggerated? No way!
While Kiss has been a complete joke since they started dressing up roadies as original members, they were a great live band back in the day. Especially into the late 70's.
Someone mentioned Ace's tone was thin in that video - somthing was up with his sound there as he typically always has the same raging les paul into Marshall type tones. It could have been that he was playing that prototype les paul....

i wouldn't say eric singer is a roadie
