i was at the show on the 14th and i was at the show on the 17th... i recall having a better time at the show at the 17th because i was 16 years old and pretty drunk... i do remember that at the first show they played memory motel. i had never heard the song before, and i remember it was leading in the cyber vote... i was upset because i didnt know the song and it has turned into one of my personal favs' i dont know what it is but i remember the 17th show being the better of the two though... are you trying to get boots of these shows koschi? if you are let me know how i can get them.

Then I said Hi, like a spider to a fly...

I prefer the 16th, myself. 17th is great too. They're all pretty good, though!

I was at all thhree shows and from an audience perspective its:

1. 16
2. 17
3. 14

From a tape/CD perspective I don't know which feels the best as I only have Sweet Home New York which is the 17th with bonus songs from the 14th.

After the 16th we met in Mustang Harrys and every one was thinking how the 17th would top it but it was not to be, the 16th is probably one of the best shows of the tour, maybe ever.

Sweet Home New York City (17th) is a fantastic audience recording. The best audience recording ever??

Sweet Home New York City is fantastic. there are 3 bonus tracks from 14th:
low down, memory motel, little red rooster

<Sweet Home New York City (17th) is a fantastic audience recording. The best audience recording ever??>

I've only two other fantastic audience recordings that can be compared:

"Hold On Tight" 1975
"Stockholm Cirkus" 2003

<there are 3 bonus tracks from 14th: low down, memory motel, little red rooster>

On my copy of Sweet Home New York City, only LowDown is included...

I have 1 CD only, maybe that's the reason. the cover art says Crystal cat, but on the CD, the only thing printed is "for promotional ude only.."

its good, but far from the best ever. Wembley 11.6.99 and the above mentioned Stockholm show blow it out of the water

Gazza,

What is your copy of Wembley 11.6.1999 recording called? I was at this show and have CDR recording of it but the editing between tracks is poor. If it is better than Sweet Home NYC then I need an upgrade. Are you interested in a trade?

my copy doesnt come from a bootleg CD although it ended up as a bootleg called (I think) "sweet Home London" amongst others

We treed it on Rocks Off at the time it circulated about 3-4 years ago. The sound is fabulous. As good as almost any soundboard you'll ever hear.

e-mail me and I'll be happy to help you out.
