You can hear it on the radio on www.blackcrowes.com if you choose the "Black Crowes Radio Online".
When I heard this it made me think: This version is good. Very good in fact. But I wonder if the Stones' version from Licks is as good? Because I have only heard the versions from Palais Royale and Fleet Center 2002.
Thoughts?

Yeah, I've noticed that bootleg on easytree. And I would love to have it. But I don't think I can download 5cd's without having a huge upload rate. There's a limit on download and upload over here in belgium per month. That really sucks.
i love their version, but I've heard one version even better. Norwegian band Tumbleweed did Torn and Frayed on a few occations, and it was magic! A lot of Norwegian Stones-fans go to Tumbleweed's gigs, and also their keyboardists solo gigs. Christer Knutsen loves the Stones, Gram Parsons etc, and it's obvious when you listen to him. By the way, he looks like Ronnie!
I miss "Lucy in the sky with diamonds". Like the BC version. Great band, The Black Crowes. Last week I completed the official BC-catalogue, by buying the version of Southern Harmony etc." with the four bonustracks. I've been playing it all week: it rocks. A masterpiece...
Mr Edward
Does anybody know how the latest New Earth Mud disc counds like? Haven't heard it yet. Stonescrowes?
Southern Harmony should have been tought of as a classic. Probably the best pure rock & roll album of the nineties. Although if I had to choose: I even prefer Amorica.
