Historic storm. We're supposed to get a couple feet as well up here in Maine. The ground is bare here right now! The snow has just begun to fall, and is predicted to really dump on us tonight.

Toronto is pretty much paralyzed by this storm. Grateful to have a warm home, hot food and being safe.

Take care out there everyone.

Take care everyone, we aren't supposed to get one flake here in the DC area. Been trying to convince my NYC daughter to get a big, warm coat. She doesn't like the way they look, so she'll probably freeze in her cute jacket coat. Oh, the folly and vanity of youth...

Did I read it correctly? They are calling for 36 inches of snow in Boston and NYC?

[edition.cnn.com]

Two ferocious storm systems are expected to converge across the Northeast on Friday and spawn nightmares for a large swath of the country.

A wintry blast churning across the nation and a cold front barreling up the East Coast will unite and could dump as much as a foot of snow in New York and up to 3 feet in Boston.

Stay warm and safe! Don't do anything careless and drive as little as possible.

Forecasts are all over the place but I don't think that map is accurate. We won't get 20 inches in Northern NJ. Nevertheless there will be significant snowfall throughout the Northeast and especially up in New England so be prepared and stay safe.

Maybe Boston. New York is supposed to get 10-15 inches.

Thanks for your nice thoughts Rockman! T&A, i know you're worried sick and just putting on a brave face here for me, so I thank you as well.

The snow just started picking up speed. There's really nothing much on the ground yet. I'm excited though - I love a good snow storm.

I can't imagine it will be anything like the blizzard of '78, which was totally awesome, but I'm hoping it is good enough to give my son a lifetime of memories.

Must be too many loud concerts,
the bleating and quacking, it all sounds the same.
Hoping someday to silence the lambs... err goats.... or ducks or something

"Hey Pot? Hi. This is Kettle. I just called to say how black you are." You got my attention over this... again. (alow clap)

Like my posts or hate them. Your 'calling-me-out' or whatever you're trying to do? Completely ineffective Maxy.

Isn't it better to have fun, be a little silly then be a whiny wannabe post-police. M'kay?
