Slowest download ever. The seeder keeps disappearing and nobody is getting anything. I have been connected for more than 30 hours and am stuck at 68%. I just hope this thing will be finished by tomorrow morning when I roll out of bed. Patience is a virtue...

Got it! Quite good for a 35 years old recording!
All instruments are clear. A good document! Quite a bit of hiss audible an the quiet parts but hey, that's a new source!

No, I think it's a bit less good. But there are songs that complete the known recordings.

It´s a tad worse sounding than the "Devil´s Disciple" source. Still, it´s a good and listenable recording and since I am an audience source junkie, I am just glad it exists no matter how good or bad it sounds.

The only frustrating thing about this source are the cuts. A good portion of the middle of the concert is missing and even though there are now three (!) audience sources for this date, we still don´t have the complete concert.

Nevertheless, it´s always exciting to listen to new recordings from the 1969-73 era. I am grateful (unlike many others) for every single source that surfaces, especially if it comes from an original tape/master source with known lineage and is distributed for free.

Keep ´em coming...

Yep, this is the first big 'release' of 2005 - hopefully there'll be many more to come. I feel sorry for those of you without broadband... this is the way that all ROIOs will be distributed in the future.

I assume by downloading this via "torrent" you don't lose any quality?
If that's the case then yes - this will be the way to spread stuff around in the future.

I also assume once downloaded you simply burn to CDr....without gaps between tracks??

Easytree, everydayjones and tradersden offer lossless downloads, _not_ mp3

You need a broadband connection to download as well as the freedom to use peer-to-peer networks.

'Torrent' is short for BitTorrent - it's just a method of distributing files, whether they're FLAC (lossless), MP3 or pirate software. As more people join the torrent, the faster it becomes for everyone. I seeded (shared) VGP-373 on The Traders' Den nearly a month ago, and 154 people have downloaded it in that time - all clean copies, no postage expenses, and it's STILL going too. Try doing that with weeds, vines or trees!

Once you've downloaded, you can burn to CD-R without gaps, as long as (a) you have your burning software set up properly, and (b) the seeded copy doesn't have gaps.
