There aren't many that will truly bring us that close together. Having Bruce Springsteen come out (my idol after Seger) was a dream come true for both of us. Just 3 stunning shows I've seen by Seger that I wouldn't trade for the world.
Bottom line, if you are a fan, its absolutely worth it, especially if you haven't seen him recently. He gives an incredible show for his age, and you have to see it with a sense of nostalgia. His prices are pretty fair, and if he came around to my area again I would go in.

Turn The Page is definitely chill inducing. Its funny, that was a song I learned so much later after I already knew Seger's catalogue. Its not a song I associate so strongly with him as one of his classics, yet its the one EVERYONE at shows will know. Definitely one of the best concert singalong moments I've seen at any show. And its like clockwork every time that it immediately gets the people singing.Quote

I would go again, too. I saw him in '78 and then again in '11 (at MSG,with the Boss guesting on Old Time Rock N' Roll). I've seen many concerts in my lifetime, but one of the all time highlights is Turn the Page in concert. Everyone singing along in unison. Great feeling!

Seger doesn't dress cool.
He dresses like a slob.
There's a big difference.
C'mon Bob, you're a rockstar for God's sake. Fix yourself up, get out there and @#$%& carry it man! Damn.

Getting his teeth whitened wouldn't hurt either.
In 2006 they opened the comeback tour in my town. I had a solo seat not far from Bob's wife and kids. His teenage daughter had a couple of friends along and one of them mooned the crowd before showtime. They were escorted out and Mrs. Seger watched the entire show alone.

First saw him in 1977. Many times since including the last 2 tours. Always great and really seems to love the crowd and touring. Starting to show his age though.
And, as previously stated, I wish he would change the setlist. "Old Time" should be his opener to get it out of the way. Like the Stones, he has a deep and varied catalog to choose from.
Would go see him again in a minute though.
Marvpeck saw him in Detriot in the 60's. Marv?
