There have been a lot of good Black Sabbath albums and shows that didn't include Bill Ward.

I'm mostly for the Ozzy-years myself, but Mob Rules (2nd album with Ronnie James Dio on vocals) from 1981 is the first album without Bill Ward (replaced by Vinniy Appice) and it's considered a good album by many.
Another quite decent album is Headless Cross from 1989 (with only Tony Iommi as original memeber). Cozy Powell (The Jeff Beck Group, Rainbow, Whitesnake etc.) plays drums on that album.

Also like Dehumanizer and the version of The Eternal Idol with Ray Gillan on vocals. And the Heaven And Hell Live At Radio City DVD.
