They have number 6 incorrect. Child #3 is named Julian Mark, but child #4 is Julian Brian. #3 goes by Mark and #4 goes by Julian.

I could have done without the bum shot, but it is funny, none the less.

How about the fact that he's buried in an ornate coffin paid for by Bob Dylan.

In what sense are these facts 'intruiging' ?

So, do you know who did? Most internet postings say Dylan did, though there's one that says Tom Keylocks claims to have bought it, which seems unlikely.

Anyone have a color picture of the coffin? It's supposed to have a lot of silver on it. It just seems odd that such an expensive coffin would appear out of nowhere on such short notice. I don't think his parents were necessarily well off, and there's never been a mention of the Stones purchasing it. You'd think that would have come out eventually. Bill's never mentioned it that I remember.

So who paid for it then?

According to Terry Rawlings it was Dylan who paid and when it arrived Keylock claim that Brian's dad had said something like "Couldn't they find something cheaper?". But yeah, I know that Terry is full of both himself and bullshit.

So....the assertion by Mathijs that Dylan did NOT pay for Brian Jones ornate coffin has not been proved, and he offered no counter belief. No other assertion has been made, or verified, as to who did buy it, even though it was obviously an ornate and expensive coffin. Until further notice, I'm buying the Dylan story until someone states, and proves, otherwise.

How much did the mums of his kids get per month in child support?

Supporting so many children must have been quite a financial strain.

My computer security system (McAfee) warns that clashmusic.com is a dangerous site, but I visited anyway.

There's nothing from that list that I haven't heard before, except item no. 1--probably because it isn't true:

Jagger’s hip-shaking, crowd taunting moves? Pilfered from a certain blonde-bobbed guitarist who hit the ground running when stardom came calling.

So it's really Moves Like Brian? I thought Mick got most of his moves in the early days from James Brown.

Otherwise, the list of "facts", at least half of them, are supposition, such as item number 3.

The comments section is amusing--each comment is answered by the author of Brian Jones: The Final Truth, with "Hi so-and-so, please check my new book about Brian Jones."

If Keylock bought it he probably bought one for himself at the same time and charged it to Brian/the Stones office. Any pictures of Keylocks funeral to test this theory ?tongue sticking out smiley

I would doubt it, as at that time Keylock likely never gave his own demise a second thought. He was more interested in the demise of others....

....but someone actually did mourn his passing, someone you may actually know of....
