Just saw The Musical Box cover The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

Highly recommend this performance for any Peter Gabriel / Genesis fans.

It's one if not THE best concept albums in the seventies and way beyond. There has been no other story so tremendous in music and lyrics as Lamb lies down on broadway.

I saw the original too, in Oslo in 1975. Great stuff! In fact, all the Gabriel era Genesis stuff is very very good. As is most of Gabriel's solo material.

Saw the original show in London in 1975 and have been playing this album a LOT recently. Love, love, love it. Thanks for the heads up - I will go to the London gig.

Call me a heretic but I saw the original in '75 and the Musical Box version about a year ago. It reminded me of how little I cared for the Lamb album, especially the second half. Lots of filler there.
