A lot of those (like Costello/Krall) were on the E! pre-show thing. There were some others too.

In addition to the ones you mentioned

Whoopi Goldberg
Don Johnson
Luke Wilson
Somebody from Entourage
Norman Reedus (Darryl from The Walking Dead)

and some others I'm blanking on

Yeah. I'm sure there were probably quite a few celebrities there because it was a place to be and be seen. Some celebrities will show up anywhere that has a red carpet. Whoopi came across as a fan to me. Especially during the concert, every time they cut to her she was singing along, so she at least knew the words.

Justin Bieber apparently walked into the back pit with his g/f, the night I was in there.
I heard he was wearing a wig, and that almost noone recognized him, and that the
ones who did didn't care. They were watching a concert!

I haven't seen that movie since I was a little kid, right after it came out and went to HBO. I remember quite a bit of it, I just don't remember if it's any good. Is it any good? I remember stuff like her getting dragged around in the phone booth, listening to the song trying to figure out the message, and the very end where she meets the spy. I just can't remember if any of it was enjoyable.

There is one genuinely good bit in it.

The bit where she's trying to figure out what Mick is singing.

The rest is rubbish.

Saw Al Roker aiming his Iphone at the drumming monkeys...

SJP....Please, what's she doing there..

Chris Rock, as he says hilariously, He's the only Black man who listens to Rock...

I'll probably like it just out of nostalgia. I saw it a bunch of times back in the day. It seems like back then all HBO did was run Jumpin' Jack Flash, A View To A Kill, Rocky IV and Club Paradise on a 24 hour loop.

Okay, you keep writing this word over and over. What's a ligger? Is that the thing from Napoleon Dynamite? And I assume you're attempting to use it in a humorous way. Please explain.

No I'm serious.

No self respecting reader of NME in the 1970s would dare jest about such a thing.

Oh yeah... "over and over" = twice.

It was not in the least bit irritating, and I most certainly did not tell her to shut up. I did notice however that in fact she was completely ignored by the people immediately around her, that is to say in the seats to the left & right and in front & behind. I've no doubt they all knew who she was, she's so recognisable, but I don't think I saw her once engaged in conversation over some 2.5 hours ! Anyway, she did appear to be REALLY into it !

She introduced the '94 PPV:

The PPV showed Chris Rock trying to sing along to START ME UP and SATISFACTION, of all songs, and HE DIDN'T KNOW THE WORDS!

Now, that's funny!
