Anyone else this obsessed with tongues /Artwork..... here is a screen shot of my itunes...just ones with tongues on it.

I rename the album so it flows better with the artwork....sometimes i just like sitting back and looking at it......

Very nice collection !
I did so myself, but only on a few bootlegs.

I'd love to make a zipfile with ALL known official tongue designs in high definition. Does that exist ? Maybe we could build up a project like this here...

Nice collection, indeed. There are a few there I hadn't actually seen before.

To digress a little, Bruno Mars' new album UNORTHODOX JUKEBOX is a smash and I can't help but wonder if there was some "cross pollination" regarding its imagery and GRRR! (Probably just coincidence.)

But the original toungue is missing from your collection!

Remember when the Rolling Stones were once outrageous and this tongue logo was actually shocking?

(Well naughty anyway)

And the serial number on the records was COC

And they did songs like "Star Star"

And people had bananas in their pockets on the covers of their albums?

Happy days.

If I ever get a tatoo it will be the original tongue.

My 2nd favourite is the purple spikey one.

I hadn't seen the pumpkin/skull ones before. I think the skull on could be better actually.

You can apply your own artwork - jpeg or whatever - to an iTunes album??

I love to have anything with the tongue on it. I love it almost as much as I love The Stones themselves.

My least favorite one would have to be the Bigger Bang/watercolor tongue. What the hell was up with that?

I never really liked the exploding tongue from that tour or the one from Licks.

Exploding tongue, don't like, hate the Thanksgiving tongue too.

Love most of the rest of them, was collecting some of the pins. Now you have to buy a whole set, wish
they'd put out a few individual ones.

agreed, i love the Babylon gold tongue, and the voodoo spike tongue. there are a few more i'm looking for if anyone has any. i also wanna get the ones from the past couple shows(like a bronze shinny tongue, and te red-leopard type one they had playing before the show

Rolling Stones Tongues by Daniel Teafoe.

Keep posting tongues! I would love to add to my collection. I love to have all different types to use as my Facebook profile picture. It's always nice to have tons to choose from.

I still got a unused stitched tongue from the early 70's, got two of them from my sister, used one for many years on my jeans

It was expensive, and I passed it up at the time, and now it seems to be gone.
