I CAN'T believe he's doing Helter Skelter. HOW COOL IS THIS???smoking smiley
VERY!
What would be even cooler is Paul doing a Stones song - as a nod to their 50th & that they included "I Want to be Your Man" in their latest show.
OK - I can dream can't I? smoking smiley

I believe Paul did Revolution at that show. Maybe that's what Max is thinking of.

Let's face it...70 year old men tend to be vocally weak.

I missed Macca, so what were the songs he did besides Helter and Let Me Roll It? What did he do with Grohl?

So far how I rank the top 5 performances: (revised)

1. Bruce Springsteen Paul McCartney

2. Bruce Springsteen

3. The Who

4. Eric Clapton

5. Roger Waters

Since its a Stones board an explanation is in order, I thought YGMR was great for them. JJF kind of floundered, and I hate the backup singers, they ruin the chorus. Not them personally just the way they sound. That being said a 2 song set just didn't cut it for such a big band. It looked cheesy almost like they were too good to be there. They could have played some easy acoustic numbers or a couple early hits. Oh well.

Pay attention Stones, this is how you diversify a setlist.

How is that now? The Stones only did 2 songs...how much room is there to "diversify?" If you mean Paul doing obscure song choices in general...he's been doing these songs for several years now on every tour.

Don't care for this one much, probably the most boring part of the St. Louis show last month.

Thanks! I am back on and saw 1985, incredible! Great lead on it. And the band sounds hot.
Rock the house Sir Paul.

Well how about the 38 song 3 hour setlist, that is a good start. The Stones are stone married to a list of songs.

They only did two songs and managed to @#$%& up 50% of their setlist.
