That is the million dollar question. If you go by the Paris setlists, "It's only R & R" will stand out as a clear candidate (number two in Le Trabendo and number one at Mogador). What do you think?
A song from the sixties as the first part of the show will be the "brian's years". Satisfaction, JJF, Paint it black, an other one? Then I wanna be your man, Not fade away, it's all over now, The last time and get off my cloud. End of part one. Just my 2 cents
The Last Time (my reasonable pick) Sweet Little Rock 'N Roller (my nerdy personal pick) I Wanna Be Your Man (the likely pick) Satisfaction (the disappointing pick)
I regret it probably won't be "Tell Me." The first hit they penned, accurately describes why they're back (they need our love again -- and our money), and it would be a shout out to BV for this forum.
"Tell me" would be a nice choice ( a reminder of the good old days !!!) but I bet on Start Me Up or Street Fighting Man. Those allow to have Keith on the right foot to grab the stage
They need a Bigriff-song that everyone's body reacts to instinctively, without thinking about "what song is that?" : Satisfaction!! Rock and roll, Mops
Okay here's what a Stones insider "leaked" about the 1st few tracks of the Sunday setlist :
- Around And Around - Little Queenie - Beautiful Delilah - La Bamba - Go On To School (Jimmy Reed) - I Ain’t Got You (Billy Boy Arnold) - I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone - Down The Road Apiece - Don’t Want No Woman (Don Robey) - Johnny B. Goode
