Okay here's what a Stones insider "leaked" about the 1st few tracks of the Sunday setlist :

- Around And Around
- Little Queenie
- Beautiful Delilah
- La Bamba
- Go On To School (Jimmy Reed)
- I Ain’t Got You (Billy Boy Arnold)
- I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone
- Down The Road Apiece
- Don’t Want No Woman (Don Robey)
- Johnny B. Goode

Definitely for hardcore fans!

I can't believe my eyeseye rolling smiley That's some hoax.
And i don't know "Don't want no woman" (silly title for most of the men...)

I think it would be cool if they started with a new one. Doom and Gloom preferably - even though I don't like it much think it would be a good opener.

the million dollar question is whether Keith will play 2 good chords in a row.
good luck.
for the record, the band will open with Jigsaw Puzzle

my personal favorites are b-flat and a-minor. but if he chooses to separate these with, say, a d chord, i'm cool with that.

Wish they'd let Ronnie start the show with Seven Days, I Can feel the Fire or Everythings Turning to Gold.

...and then leave the stage for the rest of the evening so we can just have Keith and Mick Taylor.

It wont be with the horn section or back up singers so It's only R & R is a good guess.

As the are starting with early songs I think Satisfaction, but would prefer Route 66 .

scuk

You're probably right. Something off their first album, like at the Trabendo gig. You're not going to do a 50th anniversary tour without doing something off your first album in your hometown, are you?

I'd love to see them open with "Doom & Gloom", but think it will be an oldie. Keith has pretty much said so. The only reason I think it might not be "I Wanna be your man" is because of the Lennon/McCartney thing. It is a 50 year Stones celebration after all.

One More Shot would be perfect, followed by The Last Time.

How about something they NEVER play that would:

a) put them in the earliest possible historical context, and at the same time

b) be familiar to almost everyone in the audience, but for the wrong reason, and would therefore

c) be a nod and wink to the knowledgeable few

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you:

I WANNA BE YOUR MAN!
