These gigs surely mean everything to Mick. I'm positive he knows more than everyone else in the band what it means going back on the big stage as a Rolling Stone, and as a 69-year-old rock'n'roll legend. He'll rock the place - I'm not worried at all about him, he'll be on fire for sure, he's THE front man of all front men that ever were. Last time I've seen them, in 2007, my girl instantly fell in love with the guy (it was here first Stones gig). I couldn't blame her, despite quite an age gap.

I'm not at all worried about Charlie or Ronnie either (Ronnie really seems to be doing fine). The only Stone that worries me a bit is my all time guitar hero Keef. But that has been the case for the last 15 years, and I have never been really disappointed yet, at any show I've seen.

Yes, I do take some comfort knowing that Mick never would have done this unless he was absolutely certain they/he could deliver in a big way. Keith seems to think they can do even better than they have ever done before. Maybe I am putting too much on Mick's eyes? They just look a little tired these days.

Maybe some eye drops?

You've just joined up at IORR and you're beating this thread to death.
Clearly, you are obsessed Mr. O'Lantern...and it's a drag.

I have noticed that there are lots of control freaks around here. Nobody is forcing anyone to drive to a part of town they do not desire to go to.

Of COURSE!

Fight for the right to OBSESS! Is there a better subject (the Stones) to obsess over? Don't answer that!

What about charlie's fire? Anybody see charlie on the jools holland program recently? It was troubling. He spoke in a near whisper and looked extremely feeble.

I am also concerned about Charlie. He was an absolute dynamo on the the ABB tour, at least the four concerts I saw in 2006. But that was six years ago. I wonder how long these shows are going to be? Two hours seems too much for these guys but no doubt they will probably surprise us. They always do. Or so it seems.

They are a real study in aging. That's why I find this subject so fascinating.

On SNL with the two different bands, I agree he was hot, hot, hot.
