I could tell which ones should NOT BE on GRRR!
If there would be any justice in this world there wouldn't even be a GRRR!

This is the one time I was thinking it would be OK to update a used idea - like using REWIND again or FIFTY LICKS. But no, they had to come up with this stupid primate. And who put Respectable, Highwire and Streets Of Love on this comp? Very strange.

That's why Grrr is a proper name; their repertoire is so wide that you will always be unsatisfied somehow, some song will always be missing.

Even the cover seems to fit, the "monkey" in various languages/slangs is a synonym of "abstinence" or frustrated desire (especially about drugs)

Why? All three were charting singles.

Because there are better songs...? Yes.

I've never heard it on the radio and I'm sure never will. Hell, I never heard one ABB song. They stop at Start Me Up.

On the other hand, it's thought of as a classic on Days Of Our Lives.

I've no plans to buy this CD collection. I got the 2 new songs from YouTube and thats okay with me. Its sad, that The Rolling Stones released another Greatest Hits album for their 50th Anniversary. A new album would have been a better thing for sure.

You remember their last one, right? The one after the last hits album and before the new hits album? Most people don't even know about it either.

Are you kidding? No matter how much you, and many other Stones fans (including me), may like them personally, they're not:

a) singles
b) remotely anything like non-single "greatest hits" (Under My Thumb, Midnight Rambler, Sympathy, etc.) - album tracks everyone knows or have been consistently played live onstage

"Slave" is a near-instrumental, for goodness' sake. "Tie You Up" and "Heaven" are some of my favorites album track favorites, and I don't expect them to be on there!!

Based on the above criteria, and looking at the 4 CD version, whether you like them or not, these tracks could have been contenders:

All Down the Line
Star Star
Hot Stuff
Hang Fire
One Hit (to the Body)
Rock and a Hard Place

Though on the other hand the 4 CD version DOES have tracks that are completely gratuitously-chosen:

Flight 505 ????

Those songs should not be on GRRR.

Those songs should be a reward to super stones fans, that bother to buy the actual albums.

On the other hand, sure.

It's funny how people care about a simple compilation.

It's just a compilation of old and yet done and recorded songs (except two of them).
Who cares about the songs included? Have you never listened to them?

We can discuss about the songs in a live album, but even in that case... do we need another live album?

A new album would be another matter of course.
