Pit ticket question

Anyone else get their pit tickets yet? I am just curious to know why each of my tickets shows a row (GA7) and seat number above where it says "unreserved". It seems a bit strange or is it just some administrative thing?

some Pit tickets must have been released as you see scans on ebay,co.uk
In this case I also speak of Ticketmaster UK only.
It seems that most of 29th November tickets are only released this week.

It is, I believe, an Health & Safety thing to do with calculating capacity. This system is used at other venues in "standing" sections which are normally seated.
