What are the details for the London shoot tomorrow? I was going to do the Saturday shoot but they came back and said that there was not enough take up so they are only going to do the Monday shoot. They asked if I could come Monday but have not sent any details through and I need to schedule it around work if I do go.

I think this is the nature of the business I'm afraid. The film industry seems to operate at the very last moment. Expect an e-mail in the morning giving you a couple of hours notice.

They asked if I could be in LA tue, Wed or Thurs.
I'm trying to make Thursday happen.

I had an email today telling me that they will give me the details as to which day they want me to appear tomorrow. Hopefully they will give me more than a few hours' notice like someone stated above, it can take me two hours or more just to get to LA (only 40 miles away) depending on traffic and location!!!

Well, I'm sitting slightly nervously in the reception of the London video company, wondering what's in store and if I'll get my 15 seconds of fame!

How did it go tomcat? Interested in all the details!

Waited around for about half an hour before being accompanied by 3 film crew members to a rainy London street corner.

The individual session lasted about 15m and involved quick fire Qs (what does their music mean to you? how did you get into them? What's your favourite memory listening to them? etc and a few other cheeky Qs!).

They are going to use snippets of such 'interviews' with fans in a bunch of countries and show it before the concerts start. A very cool idea and I hope I don't end up entirely on the cutting room floor!

No questions at all on Taylor or Wood: all more general/personal ones. And I got wet as well.

In fact I may have been talking to Tomcat2006 in the video company reception.

A different crew will do LA and Tokyo - maybe the same crew for NYC.

last bit of fascinating info: I had to sign away my rights to all material filmed to Promopub NV - a Stones company. Does that mean I now have a contract with the Rolling Stones?

The filming was fun even if it was in the cold and rain.

Of course it was worse for the film crew who had to put up with the weather for the duration.

The video is being directed by John Hillcoat. He has repeatedly worked with Nick Cave and also Depeche Mode. His film The Road, based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy, premiered at the 2009 Toronto Film Festival.

John Hillcoat wasn't in sight yesterday - direction.interview etc. was being done by the producer, Malachy McAnenny. really nice, very professional, guy.Award winning video producer.

Yes - McAnenny said he probably wouldn't go to LA, but might go to NYC. don't know about Hillcoat.

Same here.

At first I thought maybe it was just me, because I replied to the last email with a suggestion that they could grab some footage of a Stones' fan "gathering" at the screening of Charlie Is My Darling at the Art Theatre in Long Beach Wednesday (11/14 ) night. I figured that they didn't appreciate the suggestion, and perhaps I had burned my bridges.

So there is still a possibility.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear anything until the very last possible moment they're ready to bring us on either for a Thursday shoot or maybe even rescheduled for next week...that is if it's not canceled all together.
