Before I retort to the art of bitching, all credits to whomever made the effort to film this. Whip is among my favourite latter day live Stones number. It works well.
They have managed to make a bore out of Shattered though. Which is a pitty since it's a good, relatively new, rocker. A real "upper" handled the right way.

I think it's Chuck...or Bernard under the stage. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Seriously, though - based on the JJF clip, I'm guessing Chuck and Darryl did all the backing vocs for the evening.

Think I've got the name for the tour - "The Moss Has Gathered".

I think these videos just saved me a lot of money. Charlie sounds good.

Those were real slow versions, what the heck happened to Shattered?? Ronnie plays good though.

Same singing, same notes from Ronnie, same tired riffing from Keith. Mick should try to do something new to this song. It used to be great. FFS!Why not try something else, put Ronnie on Open E acoustic like the studio version, Keith could do it in standard at the same time like in rock n roll circus and Mick could just once try to sing it like he meant it.

If you really knew this band, you'd know that they'd never do any of that. Accept it and move on.

Stop whining. Take what's given to you. Drink the Kool Aid.

This Kool Aid tastes weird. What did StonesTod put in it?

did Mick sing, "I was gay in New York and a maniac in LA"

more poltical correctness, i guess. I know Mick has been doing that for years in certain songs, it's a shame they care about such stuff now...just sing them as you wrote them.

I think Mick was a bit knackered at that point.

Bless him, he was still trying though.

We're not in 1981 anymore... he threw a few karate moves.

Political correctness? I think not. At least not with the word "fag". I mean, if you're going to keep "Some Girls" as is, why bother changing "Whip"? They did it normally (albeit badly) on the BB tour. Stray Cat Blues has been all over the map, but I gather Mick just feels less creepy singing 16 or 19 instead of 13. Can't say I blame him.

Are you referring to what part of his anatomy he put in it?

It isn't polite to ask, just freakin' drink it already.

Sound is really good, they must be using an analog soundboard. Great instrument separation.

He no longer sings some girls, as is, anymore and at times skips the Kennedys verse in Sympathy and leaves out the last line in Rambler as well.
