I ve seen it really up close and i d be surprised if it was not an original. But who knows?

It's impossible to tell if it's original or not. The guys at Gibson custom shop (Tom Murphy etc) makes these new made LPs look authentic with cracks, dings etc. As i wrote, can't imagine this one being original since i've never heard of Ronnie having one from 58 or 59. He is a strat man and i doubt that he or anyone else would buy him a real one from 58/59 with those price tags, at least $150 000 for a 59 LP.

From the one picture I have seen now it looks like a CS 59 Vintage Reissue, not a vintage one.

Thanks - then Gibson is making a very good relic job because I was fooled.

I think something was not right with the pickup selector, like the tip was broken or shorter than a normal LP.
