For those of you who might have missed this, this morning CBS did a six minute piece on the upcoming release of Charlie Is My Darling - Ireland 1965. Andrew Oldham was interviewed and some very cool clips of the movie were shown.

I felt quite privileged to have been in the audience at a screening of the movie a couple of years ago in my hometown of Vancouver, where Andrew apparently lives part of the time.

This was before they redited/remastered it. The footage film quality was quite poor, but still excellent to see in the theatre.

In this clip they've put 1966 live music under the Dublin footage...synced.

That CBS news clip was more satisfying than the whole Grrr release...

It looks like ABKCO is putting some good promotion behind this.
