After seeing this I am now tempted to go see Neil instead of the Stones. Have never seen him live, can get tickets for $70 and he's playing right here in Ottawa so no travel needed!

Actually I start hoping that I won't find any $95 or $150 tickets for the December 15th show. I still love the Stones but this is such a hassle and I know I can either go see Neil Young and have a great time or I can bring my 2 and 4 year old boys to see Phineas & Ferb Live here in Ottawa as well and I am guaranteed to make the boys incredibly happy. Maybe it's time for me to stop thinking about me, do I really really have to see the Stones live again? Sure it would be nice but there are nicer things in life.

No Stones show I have ever seen is 4 times better than a Neil Young concert, and I have seen both in concert a ton of times.

Well, the situation is unfortunate but we should perhaps put it all in perspective.

There could be worse things we could all go through than missing these farewell concerts and we all know it.

And, as greedy as our beloved Stones may be, it's not as if they *never* gave free concerts. San Francisco, Hyde Park, Rio. And while they have the reputation for not posing or campaigning for "causes" (for reasons either good or ill), Mick and Keith did show up for the 911 benefit concert, M&K & Ronnie for Live Aid, Bill and Charlie for ARMS, Keith and Ronnie on Sun City album, and a couple dozen of other good deeds scattered about we hear about from time to time.

Perhaps time to let go of the frustration, and just see how things play out.
