I think I know what you're saying.

Kitty Kelly type revelations?

I would actually consider buying a ticket to the upcoming shows if that were the case...As it is...I don't think so!

I wonder, if he had stayed with the band if he would've gotten fired for getting too fat, or asked to play from behind the amplifiers ala Stu? "You no longer fit the 'look' of the group."

There are still seats available at £ 25 for Mick Taylor + support at London Cadogan Hall 30th of Nov. No vip packages or free champagne, all seats same price.

As it says in the ad: "Now playing with a line-up of long-time friends and musicians this is a concert you do not want to miss." Could be interesting...

Got mine a month or so ago, have plane tickets to London for that weekend which I guess must be the reason why I let my self be robbed yesterday by Ticketmaster...

What does his gig schedule say about the dates for the 4 Stones shows? Previous engagements or will the Stones possibly grace the stage with MT for the announced shows? peace

The 30th of Nov is the day after the 2nd O2 show and the only MT show I'm aware of close to the 4 dates. One could always hope... At £ 25 per seat it's a fair bet.

I they gonna put MT through the sound system this time or does he just get a little Princeton up there on stage?

Mick might be a little tighter than the Stones...they can't have that

I doubt that...just don't see him as anything but honest...if his story gets a bit sensational, its because it was

Nothing wrong with that little Princeton as long as it has a little SM57 nearby and possibly an amp out to grab some more backline punch. Hope the FOH engineer is a Mick Taylor fan. peace

More of a Vibroverb guy myself. Thats what they did for MT's 1981 return to the Stones. He was not through the house system...only could be heard from the stage amp he was plugged into by the first few rows...It might be nostalgic to return to that setup?

I agree the Stones are more about looks than music for the last 3,8 decades.

I'd buy a ticket if I knew he was playing for the whole show and that he'd be rehearsing, and integrated in the band. Of course it's a nice gesture if they invite him to play on a couple of numbers, but it wouldn't drag me all the way from Trondheim, Norway to London. I'm too comfy whatching L&G from my sofasmoking smiley I'd buy the book though...

The dude more than makes up for it with his fat tone. Let 'em grow old anyway he chooses. He's got the energy to keep playing well still, more power to him.

Besides, more of him to see from the nosebleed seats. peace

I hope Mick T plays with the stones again - and I'd love to hear that he was the highlight of the show.

OK, have it your way--then no one is allowed to point out Keef's knobby knuckles or his alleged declining abilities as a player...

Nice one, LB--though it might make you a bit unpopular in certain circles.

OK, Treac, I'll leave it up to you.... And if MT wants to look like Van "The Expanding Man" Morrison, then I guess that's his business.
