Thinking of british bands of the time like The Who, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and The Troggs who used to smash their instruments on stage. Brian Jones and Keith Richards were pretty wild in the 60's but they never copied this behaviour, or did they?

I don't mind The Who and Hendrix doing it that was part of who they were at the time. I don't think I've ever read about the Stones breaking equipment on stage. Now Keith may have broken one over Mick's head at somepoint but who knows?? I read a quote from Keith saying its a true friendship when you can bash a guy over the head one day and still be friend's the next day but who knows coming from Keith.
