You're all wrong. It's "Sympathy ...". The most ape he ever got.
He's completely over the top. His voice really is the lead instrument.

One of them surely was singing That's How Strong My Love Is on the Bigger Bang tour. Nothing short of amazing. The hairs on my back stood up as he took the audience back in time to 1965 when he was at the height of his youthful prowess.

He even got hugs from Keith for those performances thumbs up

Moonlight Mile

The peaks and the way he uses his voice, especially towards the end is amazing. And the tune is one of their absolute best, much due to Jagger's performance.

Just what came to my mind, they are so many.

Loving Cup - Alternate take
Gimme Shelter
Watching the River Flow
Through the Lonely Nights
Fancy Man Blues
Wild Horses

You mean the Licks Tour right? It's a humdinger on Four Flicks.

Winter, Moonlight Mile, and especially the glorious Let it Loose would be 3 of my picks.

There have been so many wonderful Jagger performances over the 50 years though, even including 'Laugh I nearly Died' from ABB, I know a lot don't like his more mannered over enunciating neo style, and it certainly affects 'Streets Of Love' among others, but on LIND I find his performance superb.

Everytime I listen to Stones covers...I see the extreme dificult effort that Jagger does. There are many examples. For instance Start Me Up becomes a wreck anytime another singer tries to sing that song.

As for covers, Micks reading of My Girl stands out to me.

First song I thought as well. And Tumbling Dice on Brussels Affair, he does some great gospel-inspired ad lib at the end of the song.

I pretty much agree with you, although oddly enough... Alice Cooper and Roger Daltrey of all people seem to hold their own here...

Nothing Jagger sang pre-'68 matters to me really.

However, if you're gonna champion an old cover of theirs from their black n' white Beatle Days, focusing on Jagger's singing, this blows It's All Over Now out of the water.
