Paradiso 1995

The 1995 Amsterdam Paradiso shows should be in the bootleg series. These shows were tremendous. The setlists for these shows was awesome and we've had Gimme Shelter and Street Fighting Man bring out the rest of it!! What do others think?

Definitely.

Keith said in Life that he was appreciative of the Paradiso as a venue.

Keith was probably also appreciative of Utrecht Vredenburg as a venue but he probably doesn't remember grinning smiley

Those club concerts in 1995 were a highlight of their entire career. Maybe Ronnie Wood had his greatest moments then.

This is the first gig I thought of when the bootleg series was announced. Foottapers is a mighty fine bootleg...

These are the shows that Scorsese should have based Shine A Light on, in my opinion.

If they had gotten Scorsese back in 1995 they would have really had something. Another lost opportunity. For all of Mick Jagger's supposed business expertise I have to say that the Stones have missed a lot of opportunities over the years at least what the real die hard fans want out of them. That's the main reason why everyone always says that they are just in it for the money.

Yeah but that's wishful thinking. In May 1995 Scorcese was ear-deep in the making his masterpiece "Casino" so I doubt he would have bothered with the Stones...

Still a Fool is mesmerizing. The Stones being transported to the past and totally jelling into a swamp blues groove. Fantastic, and it would be a great contender for release. They should do a nice box set with all the performances.

Yeah, of course. But I was thinking of the cities: Amsterdam, London and Paris.

Not worse than he used 5 Stones songs in the movie - two of them in different versions.

I didn't like Shine a Light from Paradiso - the guitar (Ronnie) and singing seems somehow odd, but probably difficult to match the very great version from EOMS with Taylors fantastic solo, Preston on Keyboards and the missing gospel atmosphere and Mick singing.
