my wife usually use the word "vice" about the LP collection ...

mine is similar...something along the lines of "YOU BOUGHT WHAT??? YOU BASTARD!!"

I'm paraphrasing mind you.

I wear the pants in my family!.....(that is, when my wife's not around).

It's simply a vastly overprized "fansploitation" effort.

Just remortgage the house and get yourself one...you know you want it!

Why should I? I downloaded the flacs from Stonesarchive.com when they were originally released (even paid for them, thanks for asking!) and for the visuals, I have tons of pictures from the 1973 tour plus all the circulating video stuff. The physical releases don't offer anything more - no new mix, no bonus tracks, no special (analog) mastering for the vinyls.

Excellent idea, Alimente. All analog records would be a popular selling point I believe. Color vinyl would even make it more attractive. But you're probably right, we'll see nothing new in the end. Or maybe 2015 will bring a new way of marketing strategy? I hope so. Getting tired of re-hashed releases, like many other people around here I'm sure.

COOL! You wear your wife's pants?

I wouldn't do that...mind you, that's because I'd primarily be wearing yoga pants, and that's just not a good look for me.

FYI - The Brussels Affair Box (unsigned) is currently listed at $375 at the Stones website store. Not as god as the previous $299 sale but still better that the $775 regular price.

With shipping, duties and exchange we're way over $500 unfortunately.

Still a bit much for a few slabs of vinyl and a watch!

I'll be quietly optimistic about a LIVE Box Set of all their albums.
