As the internet grows crazier, and that includes IORR, I feel less likely to "share" since it always seems to turn into a dogfight lately. I respect many of you here but these neurotic threads that crop up make me realized I can live perfectly happy without seeing my favorite band again.
I am going to take frequent breaks from IORR to decide if I can see the band in concert without thinking of some of the ludicrous posts that increasingly are posted here.No explanations or anything. Just that I am WRONG and that I pull info out of my ass because I wish to believe certain things. Great!Quote

Tonterapi, this thread is about "Brian Jones and the Stones' office."
YOU were not there and you did not know Brian or Anita.
Much of what you you wish to believe is WRONG.
If you have so much insight then why not share it? I have no problem with a well written post that totally trash things I've come to know through books, articles, interviews and what have you. I stand corrected. But you got to start with telling me why I'm wrong and what the true version of it is according to you.

That's a bit hard on stonesrule, isn't it, Dreamer?
So if you don't get them served they don't exist? I even said the name of one source in my earlier post. Chris Gibbs is another one and there are more.Quote

You said, you would provide the quotes. Maybe those quotes don't exist?
True. But then why even bother to just tell me I'm wrong and nothing more? That's my problem - the way she said it. I can take other people's views on things and if it's true that she really knew Brian and Anita I would have loved to hear her take on it.Quote

I'm not saying I'm disagreeing with your points, Dreamer. However, there might be reasons for stonesrule not to say anything - and she might have felt provoked by statements here that didn't match with her own first hand experiences, without feeling the need to tell why that was.

We never know for 100% sure who she is as long as she will just remain stonesrule. But she is suggesting a lot and presenting nothing.
Sure she has reasons not to say anything at certain points: she doesn't want to blow her cover.
And 'felt provoked'...read back how she attacks Glebbeek who can't defend himself because he's just not here. Ask yourself why she provokes and attacks? She probably has a shop of her own that needs an extra form of credibility...
Since I have a pretty good idea of who she is...boy, does she need credibility!
Driving a truck: if you bash at people like that and at the same time deny them and others to even express just an opinion (by pulling the card that your an old lady from the inner circle... ) well...then you have the mentality of a truckdriver who without a drivers license is steering with one hand and calling his 11 year old girlfriend with his other while at the same time is eating a Big Mac and shouting at all others on the road that they do not know how to drive...and when arrested is yelling at the cops "Much of what you you wish to believe is WRONG." and telling the judge "YOU were not there"...

My offer was aimed at stonesrule and since she wasn't interested in a discussion I see no point in doing the work necessary to provide those quotes now.
I gave you a title to start with if are seriously interested.True. But then why even bother to just tell me I'm wrong and nothing more? That's my problem - the way she said it. I like what Tonterapi is saying and I don't like stonesrule with her acting like a child by saying "YOU were not there and you did not know Brian or Anita." while she herself is giving no information at all...
And about dogfights, stonesrule? Just an example: I remember you, stonesrule, spreading jealousy about Hendrix specialist Caesar Glebbeek like ' "Hendrix specialist." What a load of rubbish.'
And your very nasty accusations against Glebbeek like "MANY IORR posters possess photos of themselves with the Rolling Stones but do not claim to be "friends." Nor do they spend YEARS living off a dead man."
BLAH BLAH
She knew Hendrix...Maybe she met him three or four times. But would Hendrix say he knew her?
And she knew Brian and Anita...pffff same story: would Brian say hey I knew stonesrule? Did Anita say she knew stonesrule?
Stonesrule could be a 38 years old and far too fat English truckdriver pretending to be a woman from the sixties. Or a 68 years old pathetic alcoholic from the usa who's only contact with the world is this forum..
Both of them are not very smart and can be missed regarding their information.

I didn't run and hide. Instead I tried to point you in the right direction to the sources if you were interested to look them up. But it's pretty obvious now that you are not. Again, my offer to back up my post with quotes/sources was for stonesrule and not "people". These sources I speak of are not something I have available for copy/paste here. It takes time to look them up and write them down. You are not worth that work. But if stonesrule is who she claim she may have been able to explain those quotes from another angle, something I would have found very interesting. Then it would have been worth the work for me.Quote

You shouldn't make stuff up, claim they're true. Tell people you can back it up. When you are questioned about it, you run and hide.

I forget about those Nanker-Phelge things on the early albums. Those probably produce a donut and a cup of coffee every few years. Maybe when Brian's sister passes away 'Brian's Bastards' could come forward as a group and claim the estate and use his image. All their lives looking at his mug and not getting a dime. They deserve some loot after all these years.
We'll clear this up once and for all.
Brian's parents have been receiving royalties. Mr. is dead and I haven't heard yet as to Mrs. Jones' state of animation. Barbara will inherit the royalty gettin' and when she dies, her two little darlings will receive them.
Brian's Great Shower of Bastards are not legally (I said legally, not morally) entitled to to anything of Brian's. Why? They all, excluding one, have other legal fathers. 2 were born when mum was married to other men, which, in both the UK and the US, automatically makes that child the legal child of the husband. Great lengths would need to be taken by the child's biological father in order to change legal parenthood, and, well, the children's biological father is extremely dead and, hence, doesn't do much but lay around in a cemetery all day.
2 were adopted out to other people and 1 had his stepfather adopt him. In the US and UK (with the exception of one State), one loses all inheritance rights when one is adopted or there is no legal relationship between parent and child. One was not adopted, but Brian was not on the birth certificate, hence not the legal father of the child = no inheritance rights.
They may be able to convince a judge about Mark, because as far as I know, there is no other legal father, but then again the judge may order DNA test. Ain't no DNA tests being handed out by that family any time soon. The bastards can DNA test themselves all they want, but it would only prove that they are siblings, not Brian's children. They'd have to dig the poor bastard up, and that ain't happening.
Brian's bastards really don't give a flying fvck at a rolling doughnut about the royalties anyway. The Jones' can take them and shove them right up their Jonesly arses. They all do well, Brian's kids, and they don't particularly need anything.
It's interesting that so many other people are itching to get their hand in Brian's biscuit jar, though. Someone about 3.5 years ago did try to get all of the Bastards together and sue for royalties, with said person, of course, getting a nice chunk of it. He was certain Brian's estate was not getting the proper amount of poundage. Why he deserved to have that chunk still mystifies the hell out of me. Then the laywers, accountants and music royalty investigators would all get the majority of the chunk, leaving the bastards to split what was left all those ways as there are many bastards.
One of the Bastards, who had neither any sort of background in law nor was even British, had to call up and the music royalty investigator and tell him that all you silly people were running around like a headless chickens for nothing as nobody ain't gettin' nuttin because this is the law regarding inheritance rights. You are a music royalty investigator and music is rife with bastards, and said non-Brit Bastard has to tell you what the laws of inheritance are in the UK, FFS? Go talk to an solicitor that doesn't have his head shoved up his arse and put an end to this circus.
That's just par for the course when it comes to Brian. All of the "Brian was murdered" books are the same thing - hand in the biscuit jar. When you drink morning, noon and night for years, you have a tendency to black out and pass out. You pass out in bars, in toilets, face down in steaming piles of shit and, yes, you pass out in your own pool. But see, "drunken bastard who passes out in his own pool and dies" doesn't make any money. "Musical genius murdered in his pool" certainly does. That's why I have never read any of those silly books. I'm giving my money to greedy bastards who want to make money off of a dead one.
