Great book. Defenitly worth to get.
Interesting fact that they left out the 80`s. Nobody wanted to be remembered these times. They jump from Wembley `82 to Steel Wheels `89.

Just a pity that they do not have let Bill Wyman allow participation in the book.

I'm not very happy that once again the largest part of the book is dedicated to the 60s. Would have enjoyed it more if that weren't the case. On a more positive note I do like the 50 years in Rock book, available around Europe. There's quite a few newer pictures in there.

Thanks mrfancyman, but I am getting to the age when I am willing to wait for birthdays. My Dad used to say, "when you are young you can't wait for birthdays, then you start to wish you could slow them down, and before you know it you're just glad to make it to another one." Guess I am in the middle now!

Isnt the Life magazine Rolling Stones at 50 a sort of slimmed down version of the book?

Good book, but i'm a little bit disappointed. Too few comments.

I think that Rolling with the Stones and According to the Rolling Stones are better.
Especially the last one, because everyone speaks on it.

I like the book and the unseen photos.

I was intrigued by a set of photos of Mick taken a mile or so from where I live, outside Tettenhall Magistrates Court. I can feel a bit of research coming on, the courts closed a while ago and I want to find out where they were.

As I understand it it's a picture book. What about the picture texts, are they written by a ghostwriter?

They're credited to Mick, Keith, Charlie or Ronnie, I would have thought that they've been taken from recent interviews.

I'm not sure Stoneage. There is very little basic text that is not credited to one of the band. However someone has to have created it but the book does not give the impression of being ghost written.

Nice book if one judge by the quality of the prints/price.
But...where are the unseen pictures ???

So far it is the best "official" photo book ever released: good quality prints for the price, and above all tidy editing (just imagine how Wyman's last book coule have been if it received the same treatment). Like all photobooks, text is quite irrelevant.

It´s a great book and I´m surprised and glad they took one from Nobby Clark´s
Earl´s Court ´76 one´s into.
It´s similar to one of those he put into his Starf*ucker book,published 2008.

£18 in HMV. Worth it or should I wait for the bargain book shop appearance?

I am quite sure I have them all!

For the quality of the material, Bill's book is the best. But the quality of the print was very poor, and I can't stand that that disordered lay out, every page looks like a table with a bunch of photos thrown on it. I mean, a phot book should let you appreciate the work of the photographer!

Glad you got'em all, I missed all the Out Of Reach (and of my bank account) Genesis Publications ones.
For the other ones, I didn't mentionned Bill's Book, but some that worth the readin' and the pictures at the time of their release.
The dissapointment I feel with this one , is that there's nothin' at all on Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys, and too many shots I've already seen before.
For the unseen ones I'd expected far much (but it's better than nothing) and last but not least why no words from Mick Taylor & Bill Wyman , it should have been fair !Just my 2cts
