I don't dispute this, hb, but Jeff has stated that, while he respects them both, he has moved on. His bassist for the past few years has been Rhonda Smith. If Jeff is playing with his own band, that would be a crowded lineup for a 90 minute show. I thought Jeff would play with the other bands. If you get any more details, please share (if you can). Thanks!

I watched the White House gig streamed live and it was fantastic.

That would be strange if Tal and Vinnie are playing with Jeff.I think they are great musicians but what about his current line-up.I think we may see some surprises on SNL,but not a Rolling Stones reunion.

Thanks very much for the response, hb! Hmmm...Vinny, Tal, Jeff and Mick? Formidable. I know others strongly disagree but for myself, that's a lot of talent Mick's got behind him. Having just watched Beck and Jagger the White House again and the recent vids of Keith playing acoustic (again) it is starting to make sense why the Stones are not playing SNL.

Jagger looked fine in the above clips, but it's tough to get a feel for the quality of Keith's performance due to the poor audio/video quality and the fact that he was barely playing when he was singing, but that is normal for Keith.
