Thanks for posting those pictures, they are fantastic!

The Rolling Stones are looking to be ready for another bout of world domination, in my humble opinion.

Round One = SNL

Any sightings of Charlie or Keith?

My guess would be that Keith went home from the Studio and Charlie is still in the NYC area. I'm NOT trying to be creepy but wondering if Charlie is taking in the sights or museums or shopping?

Those sound like the kind of numbers that might be played on a TV show. winking smiley

But you know what though? I find that list very boring. Incredibly boring, to be honest. Doesn't make me want to shell out hundreds of dolars for tickets one tiny little bit. I've seen them do those songs far too many times. With their catalog, Miss You and Start Me Up are supposed to get me excited. Nope, sorry.

That's why they sound like numbers for a TV show - they're for a mainstream audience, not diehard fans!

Indeed.

A bit early for setlist whining isnt it? (and thats coming from one of the biggest setlist whiners in Stonesland....)

A Stones live appearance after five years? On TV? If thats what we're going to get, they can play a medley of Osmonds songs for all I care, so long as it's in bloody tune.

With Keith at Cipriani's, Mick and Ronnie and the Met, rehearsals just wrapping up and the SNL broadcast less than 10 days away I think we are getting a wish granted.

It would be interesting to know when Bernard and Co. have a break in their schedule. Could they make a late flight into NY for the show on the 19th?
Not that the Stones need them for the surprise but it could be a hint. Also, was Pierre at the session in NJ?

Bernard, Lisa and Blondie have been in Norway performing with a Stones cover band.
Bernard played AC with Ronnie last month.
Mr. Jones is in Sweden for gigs. Being who he is I doubt he needs much practice with the Stones other than a day of running through some songs.
Don Was on bass for rehearsal. OK but he was also backstage at the Super Bowl-their last major TV appearance. I don't think he usually travels on tour with them.
All of them have been performing and I think they are warming up for the SNL gig separately.
Now we get photos of Mick & Ronnie enjoying NY after the rehearsals.

Get ready Stones fans.
excellent, thanks so much... but where is kent smith???

Call me crazy if you will, I'm between jobs at the moment (gardening leave as it is known), with time on my side I'm thinking about hopping on a plane to NYC to see what I can see. After all, with a couple of days of intell from the streets, should not be too hard to find where they are bunkered down and to find the actual facts.

Long way to fly from down under but I 'm currently checking out flights leaving on Friday.

Hi Rockwoman - if you're anywhere near,or passing through QLD ( and have a big enough suitcase) can you call in and pick us up?
