I don't know. Milan footage was filmed by Ettore Tommasini with a Canon "Bazooka" Super-8, color.

In that Essen film Charlie's wearing AC Milan jersey so it must be from Italy then, right?

I believe all is from Milan, except the B&W footage which is from Essen, and the rehearsal footage is from Finland.

Yes it is.

Btw: Brown Sugar from Essen is incomplete (fade out)

Again I don't know. Perhaps film from Milan was added to parts of the Essen film (where the film originally didn't exist).

I think the rehearsal clip is from Sweden. Helsinki gig was at Olympic stadium, not indoors.

I haven't viewed it fully yet but there's footage mixed in from Essen IIRC.

Interesting stuff - especially Brown Sugar and Dead Flowers. The 1970 tour is basically the second half of the 1969 tour then, same songs more or less with the addition of BS and DF. I hope stonesarchive.com can release a 1970 or 1971 concert (I know I keep saying this)

It's a shame the audio can't be matched with the video in these clips though - clearly one of them is of them playing Midnight Rambler (MJ playing harmonica) but the audio is of Brown Sugar. If video exists then there is usually also an audience tape so the two ccould be matched?

Regarding the "SFTD rehearsal"...annoyingly the audio is SFTD from Ya-Yas (where is the original audio?), and the person filming seems more interested in filming the other photographers than the band.

Thanx.
Essen '70 was my first Stones live gig. But these days I remember more the surroundings than the show itself . .

There is something about these 1970 versions of JJF that I really like. Actually, I can pinpoint the precise chord that just slays me. At :46, at 1:25, and at 2:37-38 KR hits a chord in that chorus that I could listen to over and over. Particular the :46 one. Anyway...

Nice.

Very cool someone assembles the videos. The 70 tour is the most interesting and mysterious one for me. Been collecting photos all on 70 tour.
Far as the archive releases go, there is nothing the Stones could do that would excite me more than a 70 show put out by the band.
