Porcupine Pie by Neil Diamond.

Seasons In The Sun by Terry Jacks.

Terry Jacks...he's from Vancouver, where I'm from.
Actually the Kingston Trio's version of the original Jaques Brel/Rod McKuen is great - it's actually a very funny song. smoking smiley

Now you got me thinking....keeping on the Chapin groove, W.O.L.D amazing song and Jagger would nail it!

Others that spring to mind...

Golden Earring -Radar Love
Deep Purple - Black Night
AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie
Son House - The Pony Blues

As are you, and I think we may be developing a mutual respect. Of course, I can only speak for myself.

Unfortunately the link doesn't seem to work...but are you saying you don't want Mick singing on it?

where the f is Rockman's list? I know he could put together eight albums
worth, but one album full would still be great.

No, it is not that I don't want him to, but I think this is not his kind of thing. I would like to hear him singing some more soul stuff, Otis Redding stuff and things like that. I love his vocals on songs like 'Just my imagination'. I would like to hear him doing 'Try a little tenderness' or 'Love man' or 'Mr Pitiful'. Plus, I love him on faster blues numbers. I would very much like to hear him do 'Got my mojo working' or 'Shake for me'.
