So do I .
When I unseal them I can't stop playing them.
Vynil records are so beautiful .

Agreed!

It's nice going to antique and flea markets and finding cool vinyl & shellac treasures for insanely great prices. I bought several 78s recently from the early 1900's for 1-3 dollars each. Jazz and show tunes...very cool.

To keep things on topic...very therapeutic for the soul!

I have a dread of the day they will officially end. It will engender intense self reflection.

I hear of a place that can turn them into very attractive bowls.

I end up tuning all my guitars to open G and tilting all my basses to a Wymanesque angle.

Do you also have very small hands?

Listening to Exile every day.
Sometimes I dream about the Stones - really. I dreamt that you could go see them live and through some kind of viewer, they'd appear as your favorite "version" of the Stones. I almost didn't want to wake up.

Gotta run - the men with the nets are here.smoking smiley

My heart is pounding wildly - I never thought of this happening. The loss of these musical sensations would be devastating.

It can be so disappointing to wake from a good Stones dream.

"Nurse" is one of my all time favorite albums. Never got the last 2 but they were still putting out good stuff as recently as the mid 2000's.

Wish they would tour America again.

You should at least consider buying the new album then if you're such a fan:

I mean, it was only released 2 or 3 weeks ago...a true fan would have bought it already.

If its easily available I might.

But after 15 years of neglect it's hard to stay dedicated.

OK - here's my secret shame...
I have pictures of Keith Richards (oh and one of Mick & Keith)...an entire photo show on my iPad...
on my work computer I also have pictures of Keith as my Wallpaper & screensaver...
...on my Mac - more pictures of Keith - an entire collage of Keith and Stones pics...
...my iPod - yup - you guessed it - in fact, I even call it "Little Keith."

I also use variations of Stones songs for my password.

OK - I feel better now. smoking smiley
Time to take my evening meds.
My name is Memphis and I'm a Keith-oholic

I heard a woman recently say she was "cured" of something. At a dinner party last week I heard this woman mention an odd cure for a broken heart (more of a grudge) that she'd carried around for years. She and her ex-boyfriend subsequently married different people. She was in love with her new husband, but carried a grudge toward this ex-boyfriend of years before. They each had two kids. And their families recently bumped into each other at the beach. Her ex's wife is pretty. But she said what cured her broken-heart-grudge was this: "It was unspoken but SO obvious to my ex and me (I could see it in his face). My two kids are good looking and his aren't!" It made her feel she'd "won" at last. Funny thing to hear at a dinner party.

On that basis, I must carry a grudge for ALL my friends, yet I do feel lucky that my children are the best looking. smileys with beer

There is actually some interesting research about apologies and the differences between men and women. Where women are more often than not to carry a grudge for years after the event.
