But that's not backup vocals LIVE, it's backup vocals from STUDIO

This is the original live version from that Paris show, without overdubs
Only Mick here

Erik - there was a time when one could watch a concert film and not worry about insipid overdubbs which pollute all of the Stones' "live" albums.

Then Biggest Bang came...

ahh but that there's a shared lead vocal, not backup - you gots to choose again, memphiscats!

some outstanding examples that leap to mind:
~ the 1964 Joe Loss show If You Need Me - although that's practically a shared lead too,
even though it probably wasn't meant to be
~ his New Barbarian back-up vocals - all of 'em!
~ Time Is On My Side 81
~ Wild Horses in Saitama in 2006
~ and so on, for a thousand miles :E

"Satisfaction" on "Got Live if you Want it"

I tried posting a clip, but it's so frustrating with the GLIYWI recordings: they vary drastically. On youtube I could not find the version that I have on my official album.

no big deal anyway, especially when ... ahh never mind!
Keith's singing is a blessing and i love the Rolling Stones

I love him on "Hot Stuff" in 75. What I like so much about it is that he remembers how many, and when to sing them. Not being facetious either.
"Hot Stuff" in 75 is one of my favorite cuts of the set-list.

How about "Bye Bye Johnny" in '72. Not only is he singing those "bye bye's" from all his heart, but then he buckles down and riffs in between too.

Have we mentioned any '78 BU vocals? "Beast of Burden" ? "Respectable"?
