Any guesses about the next golden nugget from Stonesarchive? I would like any of the three concert's from Madison Square Garden 1972.They have just released Hampton 1981 with Ron Wood, and also Texas 1978 with Wood, so maybe the next will be with Taylor. Since Brussel 1973 is out, it MUST be 1972 next??

And the Brian Jones era? I hope they release something from this period, but fear we get only Atlantic City '89, San Diego '97, HBO 2003, Saitama 2006, all stuff that is well known to us.

Didn't realise the Stones were only formed in 1969.
and er....considering they've played about six times as many shows with Wood as they did with Taylor, why assume they're going to alternate releases from both eras?
They played 4 MSG shows in 1972, incidentally - as the Fort Worth and Philly shows were recorded and mixed for a live album, they'd be more likely candidates for a release from that tour, I'd have guessed.

Or what about Tokyo dome 1990, Miami 1994, Johannesburg 1995, Bremen 1998, Glascow 2006 & Buenos Aires 2006

All well known stuff, too. There are also quite good recordings from these shows. Of course it is possible, but I thought actually after Brussels (they took the most tracks from the afternoon show and not from the well known evening show, from which are the tracks of "our" Brussels) that they release anything unknown or anything what is poorly released on boots: Brian era (BBC?), '69 (Detroit e.g.), Mocambo of course, the ingenious Hartford show from '81 - what we've got now is a inferior version (with reference to VGP 270) of Hampton. I'm a little disappointed, to tell the truth.

I'm disappointed in comparison to how I felt over the Brussels release, which I thought was terrific. I'm happy to have Hampton '81 in official quality, but like you, and probably many others, I would have been more excited about something that we either hadn't heard, or was a tremendous upgrade in quality. But then again, we didn't get anything like this for a long, long time. So its' certainly better than nothin as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks, but in all honesty, I haven't a clue. I've no greater insight than anyone else.

Hmm, they will probably not release anything from the Brian Jones era, I don't think they have the copyrights to it! And Europe tour 1970 they where still in contract with Decca so, some more stuff with Taylor must be released.
what about Leciester and Glasgow 1976? Sounds GREAT on the small parts on video!!
