Will you settle for concrete then?

do you have concrete plans to order them?

I shall stay in pre-order formation then. When I get around to ordering I'll get back to you - with a concrete decision that's written in stone.

Since the ladys are starting to appear here:

Ann Wilson from Heart can play pretty damn well, and Chrissy Hines is no slouch . peace

I would throw in a coin for Mark Knopfler. Such a fluent and natural talent. I remember Keith commending him on a radio show years ago and chose a Dire Straits song on his playlist. Dire Straits were huge in Sweden in the late 70s and early 80s.

Dicky Betts - one of the most underrated, and overshadowed by the tragic story of Duane...but he had a beautiful, melodic touch.
This gives me the chills...

If treaclefingers has Mick Jagger then I'm tempted to add Iggy Pop as a favorite guitarist. Jagger was probably better on the electric guitar than Iggy though...

I was going to put down ELVIS as well, cuz he looked great with the acoustic ax around his neck.

Just couldn't remember if he actually played it or not.

He actually played alot like Mick on electric, circa SG, with that same raucous abandon.

I'm only going to list who hasn't been mentioned, or mentioned enough:

BUDDY GUY
David Hidalgo
Joni Mitchell

jammers:
Jerry Garcia
Trey Anastasio

Africans:
Luamba Franco
Diblo Dibala

country:
Chet Atkins
Steuart Smith
Kenny Vaughan

Overrated because they're white:
Joe Bonamassa
Stevie Ray Vaughan (that's right)

Secondset, you better be careful. Bonamassa's Mother has been posting on this thread.
