I used to like "Cry tough" a lot. Nils is a great guitar player with a good voice too. I will listen to his new record but I am not as much of a fan as I was in 1976. Rock and Roll, Mops
I agree, CRY THOUGH is his best album for me and I saw him in Paris at LE BATACLAN in 1979. The show was like his 2lp live album NIGHT AFTER NIGHT and it's was incredible. Saw him several times and he always put a small tape recorder on the stage to record himself his show.
Love "Nils Lofgren", his first solo, with the original "Keith Don't Go" (though I prefer the live version). Also some Grin stuff, particularly "White Lies" and "Like Rain".Really thought he was going to be the guy for a while, but his current boss Bruce pretty much took the mantle.
