That's right: the guy who gave us "Keith Don't Go" back in '75 is still going strong. Review of his new Old School album here.

With respect to his new album and all of his original material, my favorite album of his is The Loner ~ Nils Sings Neil from a few years ago.

Interesting guitar player, technique-wise.

Try out his album Acoustic Live. Good sound on it, and a nice version of "Keith don't go"

I used to like "Cry tough" a lot. Nils is a great guitar player with a good voice too. I will listen to his new record but I am not as much of a fan as I was in 1976.

This is his best song. He peaked when he was still in his teens.

I agree, CRY THOUGH is his best album for me and I saw him in Paris at LE BATACLAN in 1979. The show was like his 2lp live album NIGHT AFTER NIGHT and it's was incredible. Saw him several times and he always put a small tape recorder on the stage to record himself his show.

Check out the live at Rockpalast from 1979, there´s some really good guitar work on that show. The solo on You´re so easy is outstanding.

Love "Nils Lofgren", his first solo, with the original "Keith Don't Go" (though I prefer the live version). Also some Grin stuff, particularly "White Lies" and "Like Rain".Really thought he was going to be the guy for a while, but his current boss Bruce pretty much took the mantle.
