I'll buy an extra copy of the book just for THAT, MTAYLOR! He can tell the truth, piss off Keith, but hopefully AFTER the 50th Anniversary tour. I am still a sucker who believes we have a chance of seeing MT on stage with the boys one more time.

Think we've all overlooked the fact that the article quoted here was published in March 2011.

maybe plans have changed since then

you know, there's a reason that BV frowns on resurrecting dead posts like this one. Actually I guess you don't know.

Just about as good as his solo carrer! It takes time to wright, and is based on the blues...
Frankly I think his ability to put his ideas into life is't that great.
Sorry Mickwinking smiley I'm a great fan of his guitar playing tough - on top, along with Jimi.

I was wondering , how far back does BV permit us to go with old threads ?
I wasn't aware that it wasn't allowed. BV seems easy going enough from what i have seen in my time here.
We have been talking for a few days on the HOW DID KEITH KICK HEROIN thread and BV seems ok with it. Its been great having a chat while the Stones are in limbo or contemplating their belly buttons lol.

I was almost through all the posts when I noticed it was from 2011. So much for that book. Taylor's story seems more suited to a long magazine piece than a full length bio. He didn't seem particularly close to the other band members. I don't remember reading that he had much contact with them after he left.

What´s wrong with waking up old threads? Rather that, than starting new threads about the same topics over and over again. Besides, there are already several threads on this forum that have been going on for ages, should they be deleted?

Don't apologize! You did nothing wrong. Most people know to look at the most recent post. And if instead you started out by clicking on Page 1, many us know to look at the date -- and if it's from, say, 2011, then you look at the most recent post and see what's up.

No big deal smiling smiley

I think that was a brief blip on the radar, 2 years ago -- and people seem to have learned how to glance at the date and see whether it's new or not. Seems most people prefer to have one thread for a topic, rather than 20 little splintered threads smiling smiley

Yeah, I know smiling smiley

If I'm not mistaken, that post came at a time when several Frankenstein-threads were revived..
