That is sad. FOMM is one of my favorite songs, he had talent.

I saw a brief post about this last night while quickly skimming through facebook,
and there was an older picture of George, Angus, and Malcolm accompanying the story...my first thought was it was about Malcolm.

RIP to big brother George.

RIP George. Vanda/Young produced all the AC/DC albums up until Highway To Hell, when they got Mutt Lange.

Marcus Hook Roll Band was one of the many studio projects done by former Easybeats guitarists Harry Vanda and George Young. It featured George Young (vocals, guitar, piano, bass), Harry Vanda (lead guitar, vocals), Alex Young (saxophone), Angus Young (guitar), Malcolm Young (guitar), Freddie Smith (bass), Ian Campbell (drums), John Proud (drums), and Howard Casey (saxophone). The project released one record, Tales of Old Grand Daddy (1973).

I have got a compilation with Easybeats , comprising " Friday on My Mind" and "Heaven And Hell". I loved those two songs then.
