OT: 25 years without Camarón de la Isla

Camaron de la Isla (Shrimp of the Island)) died 25 years ago.


At his time he was refused and booed by purists and traditionalists. But everything changed with him. It took a while to be understood. He was a turning point in the history of Flamenco music.

Paco de Lucia played and recorded with him.

Camarón de La Isla- amazing voice, he has made a number of collaborated albums with Paco de Lucia and Tomatito, "I attended one of Paco's concert in the past" ,It was estimated that more than 100,000 people attended Camaróns funeral in Spain.

As runaway writes Camarón was a spanish flamenco singer.

I can resist to post this videos.

Montreux Jazz festival. At that time the illness was already literally eating him up. But he still delivered.
