I heard Charlie wants to have a microphone mounted on the drum riser for this tour.

What do you mean, NOT Bernard?

He will be onstage with Mick until the end. And it will likely be Sasha, not Lisa.

They were listening back to Tell Me and called Bill in for a few sessions. He wasn't available for the tour; probs Bernard and Sasha...not too exciting for me but they do the job. Sasha's cute, nice to see her; early Lisa w them was a little hard getting used to, and then she was just so fabulous, added a lot of energy, power and groove too, if u get the right performances...

No, a Levon Helm.
I considered Levon, but Don seemed like a more absurdist comparison.

I'll see your Don Henley and raise you a Phil Collins. If pressed, a Micky Dolenz. Don't @#$%& with me, young man.

I doubt Lisa's ever coming back. She did her job with the Stones at the highest level for 25 years and was well compensated therefor. I would hope that financially she's set for life.

But she's got her own thing now. I saw her set at New Orleans Jazzfest last week. Nice reworkings of Miss You, IORR, JJF, and GS, along with covers of Robert Palmer, Sting, the Police, and Zep. Her voice is so big that she needs two microphones.
