Hey maiannerl, I was at Letzigrund. That was a fantastic gig and great venue, also saw McCartney there the following year. The closest gig I saw in Germany was about 80 miles, and the farthest was NYC for the Licks tour. However, I would say the most laborious travel time was the drive to Denmark, 10 hours of literally driving too fast. Oh the things we do for The Rolling Stones!

Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City, NJ - from Tokyo to NJ and back, and then back again because the first show was cancelled at the last minute. Don't even want to think about how many miles that is.

roughly 5kms when living in melbourne and how ever many it is to get to amsterdam or prague or new york or buffalo or vancouver or which ever is the furtherest.. just waitin for the next sow and will travel again b/c they ain't gonna hit the shores of oz again i wouldn't think..

From Kingston,Surrey,England,the nearest was 3 times to Twickenham,which is under 5 miles and I walked it once.The furthest was Las Vegas which is a lot furthur.The day after The Stones gig at MGM Grand I had the pleasure of seeing The Righteous Brothers about 6 months before it became The Righteous Brother.Also saw Savoy Brown on another night.Very memorable trip.

Farthest: From Chicago to LaS Vegas - 1,751 miles November 18, 2005.

Most adventerous, Champaign, Illinois to Pontiac, Michigan November 30, 1981. 5 guys left campus and we picked up 2 girls at Purdue University and 7 of us drove to Pontiac, Michigan in one car. We drove back to Champaign after the show. 401 miles each way. My first Stones concert.

Closest: Double Door in Chicago. 3.2 miles. Best $7 I have ever spent. September 18, 1997.
