04. The Rolling Stones – Place Pigalle

What's it Place Pigalle? I've never even heard such a name

From wikipedia:
The Place Pigalle is a public square located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, between the Boulevard de Clichy and the Boulevard de Rochechouart, near Sacré-Cœur, at the foot of the Montmartre hill. The place takes its name from the sculptor, Jean-Baptiste Pigalle (1714–1785), and it is the best-known district of the Quartier Pigalle, the Pigalle neighborhood.

The square and the surrounding streets were, at the end of the nineteenth century, a neighborhood of painter's studios and literary cafés of which the most renowned was the Nouvelle Athènes (New Athens).

Bruce Springsteen - The Roxy, LA, 78, Bottom Line Club 75

yes,it's cool! I wish I could download it. But in principle what is the origin of this bootleg - ER sessions?

That list is bonkers.

Most bootleg collectors are fans of

Springsteen
Dylan
Stones
Beatles
Hendrix
Floyd etc.

What's your problem? I think that's me who posted this list in first place. I had a question about the Stones bootleg - there are always people who know much more about Stones than me, that's why I like this board. Richards' boot isn't new to me so nothing to ask. No conspiracy here, relax.

Rolling Hansie,
you do not miss out almost any of my posts and always answer attacking me personally. Are you stalking me?confused smiley

Completely 100% agree...bizarre...though to be fair, the Place Pigalle bootleg is fairly comprehensive...but what about the phenomenal I Gave You Diamonds, You Give Me Disease Exile Outtakes? (The Some Girls Outtakes 4 CD set is also amazing). Or the Leeds Live bootleg? Or Liver Than You'll Ever Be? Just the fact that the Brussels '73 Live Bootleg is not on the list is freaking absurd...

A "best of" boots list without "Brussels Affair" is really no list at all.

The Place Pigalle volumes are superb, so many great tracks.

Where is "Voodoo Brew" and/or "Voodoo Stew"? One or both should be on that list too.

It does, though not many. And, as Silver Dagger noted, almost all the obvious choices seem to be absent.
